Doppelgängers

DOPPELGÄNGERS are considered as “alter-egos” or “evil twins”. Portrayed as tangibles double spirits, they carry the same memories and feelings with the individuals they belong to. But how can we identify who is the real and who the shadow? Which stories and decisions define our true selves? Constantly oscillating between contradictions, between right or wrong, where do we find our strength to stand up for ourselves and consequently for others?

This choreographic piece is a symbolic representation of the individual as multiple expressions of self, in order to talk about all the layers that coexist within us, beyond the good and the evil. We are all our stories, our fears, strengths, insecurities and determinations. Which self takes over is a matter of conscious choice.
