An act of impulse, of intuition.
A reaction to the unknown.
This work, these circumstances planted the seed for my new creation SKIN. It started as a need to find ways of connecting with others, of embodying their movement, their personalities in my own body, as a metaphorical yet physical way to embrace them.
A cry to the void.
A longing for proximity.
The skin of an abandoned building, neglected, void of animate life, gradually peels off to reveal its skeleton.
Can the skin crack, break, peel off, layer by layer, due to the lack of physical resistance, of caress, of touch?
