DRESS UP

Do you remember the paper dolls we used to play with when we were little?
Like living in a Barbie world, we grew up creating fantasies, building up expectations of a perfect life.
This is a first video of a new series of drawings and animations, with which I will attempt to comment on the images children, and particularly girls, grow up longing for, images often ungraspable, unreal. Images which create boxes to enter in.
Just like the dolls we might have got as presents. Beautifully placed, constantly smiling, but never real and free.
